Visual guidance inspired by Estyn best practice and thematic reports for developing pupil participation in practice. These posters can support the development of best practice in pupil participation in practice and are a simple and colourful way to reinforce your school priorities. There are checklists for leadership and management, staff and governors. The posters can be used in a variety of ways to implement best practice including: Work whole- school on a checklist at a time - choose the area that is a priority for your school. Give groups the checklists that are relevant to their work, e.g. governors, school council, teachers, SLT. Choose an action from each checklist to work on. The checklists are available in jpg or pdf format. Further resources to support implementation and monitoring are available in my Cully Education Shop.

These templates align intervention activities with the LNF. There is a coded framework version and a simple LNF version for each template. Interventions covered include Read Write Inc, Nessie and Rapid Readers for primary schools and Fresh Start and a general numeracy intervention template for secondary schools. There is also a PPT to explain the rationale for using the templates.

Learning Walks can be really useful to gather information about practice across the school. These proforma can be used to support SLT, numeracy coordinators, and other staff, in recording findings from learning walks looking at numeracy.
